About the Academy

After eight years New England Academy of Tennis participants hold over 250 tournament titles, 6 sectional championships, 1 national title, 3 individual state high school championships, and 9 sportsmanship awards. In addition, 98% of Academy graduates go on to play collegiate tennis.  Our experienced coaching staff has over 100 years of experience working with competitive junior players.  We are the only program in New England to have four USTA High Performance Certified coaches on our staff.

The Academy provides athletes with a training environment that integrates all the aspects of being a competitive tennis player, including sound technique, tactics, physical skills, mental skills and nutrition.  Our experienced team of coaches and performance specialists guide players along the path to becoming complete athletes in order to maximize their true potential as tennis players.

If you have the commitment and desire to push yourself as an athlete, we will give you the tools that will help you build excellence both on and off the court.

New for 2008-2009

Academy players will have their own password protected website established and managed through NEOAT. This personal website will include a video library of their strokes, analyzed and narrated by an Academy coach. The footage will be updated once per season. This will be a video history of the player’s progression through the Academy program. Also by demand, the Academy will be offering summer training opportunities in 2009. All Academy participants will receive a $150 credit towards one designated camp week. Camp information and additional details will be available in the New Year.
